The All District selections for 4A team tennis have been released, and the Brownfield Cubs came home with substantial rewards. Darian Alvarado was named newcomer of the year for the district and first team all district in singles. Ebony Constancio earned first team all district in singles as well after a very good year for the junior. Coach Rich Hammons said “every player in our top seven boys and girls earned all district recognition. We were one of only a handful of 3A schools that competed at the 4A level, and we finished as bi-district champions. Our team continued to improve throughout the year and our depth improved, as evidenced by the all distict selections.” The full list of honors is as follows:

The Lady Broncos (2-3) put up a valiant effort but at the end of four quarters, they fell to the Lady Eagles 51-33. Fayth Haile led Meadow with 19 points.
