Gas prices fall ahead of the July 4th weekend

Good news for Texas travelers this week as gas prices drop down to 12.0 cents this week here in Texas. According to GasBuddy’s a tech company that tracks real-time gas prices around the country. The average price today in Texas is $4.52 a gallon. That’s a slight drop from last week. Gas-Buddy’s did a survey of 13,114 gas stations here in the state. Truck and semi drivers get no help as the price of diesel has risen 2.6 cents nationally just this past week and now stands at $5.80 per gallon.
