March 12th Brownfield Fire & Rescue was called out to an accident seven mile north of Brownfield on US 62/82. According to the driver of the Dodge mini-van, Joseph Daley of Lubbock, was passing a Ford F-250 dually pulling a trailer, in the left lane of the north bound lanes. Daley said, “As I was passing him, I went a little bit into the median, then over corrected to the right and hit the truck on the back end.” The Ford and trailer both spun together and ended up facing south as did the Dodge. “I felt the hit and wasn’t sure what happened, but was able to keep from flipping.” said the driver of the Ford, Matthew Srevel of New Mexico. According to officials on scene there were no injuries reported.
