Graveside services for Robbin Raye Evans, 65, of Meadow, Texas will be at 10:00 a.m., MST, Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Tatum Cemetery, Tatum, New Mexico. Officiating will be Josh Crow and Rocky Nichols. Services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Brownfield.

Robbin died Tuesday, March 29, 2022 after a brief illness.

She was born to David and Bette Martin Evans March 14, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated from Tatum High School in Tatum, New Mexico in 1975, graduated from Texas State Technical Institute of Amarillo, Texas in 1980, specializing in saddle making and leather work, then moved back to Meadow, Texas in 1987. Robbin owned her own successful business creating saddles, custom leatherwork, and leather repair in Meadow, Texas. She also worked at the Ropes Gin in Ropesville, Texas and Triangle Bean and Seed of Roundup, Texas. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Meadow, Texas.

Robbin’s nieces, nephews, and greats were so special to her, they knew if they were involved she would support them and show up if at all possible.

Robbin is preceded in death by her father David Evans. She is survived by her mother Bette West of Tatum, New Mexico, sisters Brenda Evans Jones of Quanah, Texas and Shelia Evans Morrow of Levelland, Texas, brother by heart Rocky Nichols of Lubbock, Texas, Aunt and Uncle Kaye and Don Gorman of Hermitage, Arkansas, step-mother Nita Perkins and step-sister Lisa Perkins of Lubbock, Texas, cousins Glenna Gorman Knight and Jan Gorman Milburn, nieces and nephews Jenna and Jeff Decker, Ashley and Josh Crow, CJ and Kaitlin Kinsolving, Dillon and Tymber Lee Morrow, Lauren and Tyler McCormick, five great nieces, and four great nephews.

Donations can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a charity of choice in memory of Robbin Raye Evans.
