Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, UIL has not really said much in the way of if or when public schools would get to compete in sports and academics. The last time most schools saw a field or a court was in mid- March since UIL had decided to postpone all sanctioned events in the hopes of being able to come back and play, however the coronavirus had the last word on that.
