City Council discusses proposal for new Director of HR recruitment

The Brownfield City Council met Thursday morning for their regularly scheduled meeting to discuss several items on the agenda. The longest discussion revolved around the agreement with Strategic Government Resources for Executive Recruitment of a new Director of Human Resources as designated in the 2023-2024 fiscal year budget. Council members Kelli Mendez, Celso Duran, J.C Tijerina, Leon Pope, Marshall Martell, Mark Williams and Jimmy Garza were all present on the quorum along with City Manager Jeff Davis, City Secretary Kelly Burris and City Attorney Matt Wade. Mayor Tom Hesse was absent from the meeting.
