Susan Lyons Elmore was born on December 1, 1945, to George and Virginia Moore in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Susan married Richard Elmore on March 23, 1998, in Levelland, TX. Sue had many loves in her life. She enjoyed dachshund dogs (any kind of animal really) and working in her yard. Planting plants and flowers and watching things grow brought her great joy. This nurturing nature was also present in her love for her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren all brought happiness and love to her heart and a smile to her face. Sue started a career in radio advertising in Pampa, TX. She then moved to Levelland where she changed careers to work in the cable TV industry until her retirement. After a couple of years of trying retirement, she went back to work and worked with Larry Fryer in Brownfield until she retired again to look after her dogs, yard and husband. Sue and her husband, Rick had many motorcycle rides, trips to see grandkids, and days of just holding hands and saying, “I love you.” Together for 21 years, they lived and loved a lifetime. Survivors include her husband, Richard A. Elmore; children, Debbie Sue Winegeart and boyfriend, Jason Rowell; Donna Jo Kimmel and husband, Tony; Chris Elmore and wife, Debbie; Shaylyn Elmore, and Kari Nettles; grandchildren, Erin Trevathan and fiance, Ty Page; Holly Ann Winegeart, Kellie Wilkins and husband, Austin; Kristie Kimmel, Jonathan Elmore, David Bergman, Daniel Bergman, and Presley Nettles; great-grandchildren, Justice Trevathan, Kimber Atkins, Emma Angelo, Sonnie Kimmel, Charlie Kimmel, and Gunner Schmidt; sister, Judy Glass; and nephew, Jackie Wayne Glass.
