He was born November 5, 1937 in Mexico to Jose and Victoria Duran. He married Maria Rios on March 8, 1962 in Mexico. He farmed for most of his working career. He worked the last 10 years before his retirement for Terry County. Manuel was a committed and good husband and father. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Phillipe Duran and Martin Duran. Manuel is survived by his wife, Maria Duran; four children, Joe M. Duran, Rosa Rosales, Martin Duran, Javier Duran; ten grandchildren, Annalicia, Gracie, Joann, Veronica, Alexandar, Gary, Christopher, Jeremy, Joshua, and Jonathon; thirteen great grandchildren; brother, Celso Duran; and sister, Ofelia A. Duran.
