Graveside Services for Loie H. Hart will be held at 11 am Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Rosenblad officiating under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Loie was bornAugust 13, 1928 in Anna, Texas, to William Eli Goldston and Pina Mable (Shaw). As a young girl, she moved from East Texas to Brownfield. She graduated from Brownfield High School. She married Terry Glen Hart on June 10, 1946 in Lovington, New Mexico. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and loved the Lord. Loie “Shorty” was a giving and loving person that never met a stranger. She always helped people in need at the Velvet Rose Antique Shop. She lived in Cottage Village the last three years. Loie is preceded in death by her husband Glen Hart; son James Hart; son-in-law Thomas Proctor; grandson Craig Proctor; sisters Betty Hall, Oline Warren, Helen Perkins; and brother Loyd Goldston.

Loie is survived by her daughter Terry Proctor of Brownfield; son Carrol and Judy Hart of Lubbock; grandchildren Douglas Proctor, Michael and Annette Hart of Amarillo; Kevin and Christi Hart of Lubbock; Katrina and Blake Ball of Lubbock; Jamie and David Shaffer of San Antonio; Chris and Cynthia Hart of Denton; great-grandchildren Brandon Proctor of Austin, Cory Hart and Tanner Hart of Amarillo, K.C. Hart of Lubbock, Kyler, Devin, Rielyn, and Tylee Ball of Lubbock, Conner and Cayden Shaffer of San Antonio, Parker, Brenden, Adell, Avery, and Hadley Hart of Denton; nieces Toni Jones of Plains and Brenda Conner of Bangs. The family would like to thank Interim Hospice, Cottage Village, and Dr. Paul Chebib for all of their care and support.
