Funeral Services for Guadalupe “Super Lup” Herrera will be held 10am Friday, August 24, 2018 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father John Cherolickal officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. A rosary will be held Wednesday and Thursday, August 22 and 23, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Brownfield Funeral Home. Super Lup passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 in Brownfield. He was born December 13, 1957 in Brownfield to Willie Herrera, Sr. and Matilde Serbantez Herrera. In 1974 he married Anita Mata and they started a family. Super Lup loved the Cowboys, his family BBQs, and playing horse shoes. He was known by many for his work at the radio station KKUB. Super Lup never met a stranger and had friends everywhere he went. He was loved, respected and held as a legend to many people. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Herrera, Sr., a nephew, Joe David Herrera, brother, Gilbert Herrera, and sister Betty Herrera. Super Lup is survived by his 6 pack plus 1, Guadalupe Herrera, Jr. and wife, Sheron, of Brownfield, Martha Single-terry and husband, David, of Lubbock, Billy Joe Herrera and wife, Andrea, of Brownfield, Jimmy Herrera and wife, Sheri, of Tyler, Timothy Herrera and wife, Lali, of Lubbock, Louis Herrera and wife, Heather, of Brownfield, Jeremy Herrera of Lubbock; 29 grandkids, 2 great grandkids; and 5 siblings, Willie Herrera, Jr. of Brownfield, Bobby Herrera of Brownfield, Rudy Herrera of Brownfield, David Herrera of Brownfield, and Sally Herrera of Brownfield; and mother, Matilde Herrera.
