Aaron David Link passed away Friday, November 23, 2018, in Ft. Collins, CO. He was born April 9, 1980, in Lubbock to Deborah Link. Aaron grew up in Brownfield in the home of his grandparents. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Brownfield where he made a profession of faith in Christ and was baptized at age 15. He was a graduate of Brownfield High School where he was active in band and 4H. He enjoyed showing pigs. He was a graduate of Texas Tech University, and Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute in Denver, Co. He worked at several chef positions in the Denver area and as a culinary arts teacher at Adams 12 High School in Thornton, Co. Aaron loved trout fishing and spending time in the mountains of Colorado. Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, and his grandparents, David and Elizabeth Link. He is survived by his daughter, Claire Elizabeth of Amarillo, whom he loved dearly, his uncle George Link and wife Vlinda of Andrews, his uncle Edward Link of Lubbock, TX, cousin Cathy Link Gray, her husband Nathan, and their daughters Hailey and Hannah of Andrews, cousin Jon Link, his wife Tricia, and their children Rylee and Cooper of Abilene, and several great aunts and cousins. Cremation was under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon December 14, at Brownfield Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Baird officiating. Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Aaron at this time. A graveside service will follow at Terry County Cemetery where his ashes will be interred. The family suggests memorials to the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County, Colorado, or to the First Baptist Church of Brownfield.
