After two venue and starting time changes due to the weather, the Brownfield tennis team and Big Spring found dry courts to hold its 4A playoff match. The new location was in Pecos and after a three hour drive and playing in cold weather, the Cubs tennis team lifted the Bi-District championship trophy following a 10-4 win.

The Lady Cubs began slow and struggled to execute in a close first set but were able to hold off the Lady ‘Cats to win 25-19. The Lady Cubs swept the Lady Tornadoes 25-11, 25-16, and 25- 21 Tuesday night to improve to 20-2 overall and 8-1 in district play, and continued to stay even with Denver City after it defeated Dimmitt in three sets.
