Funeral service for Lou Ann Larson, 67, of Brownfield, TX will be 2;00 pm Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Brownfield First Baptist Church with Eric Horton officiating and Dr. Matt Baird assisting. Burial will follow at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Visitation was 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Brownfield Funeral Home. Lou Ann Hadley Larson was born November 30, 1952, in Clovis, New Mexico to John R. and Evelyn Hadley. She was the 5th of their 6 children. She passed from this life on November 20, 2020. Lou Ann graduated from Texico High School in May of 1970 and attended New Mexico State University, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She married Raymond Lee Larson, December 19, 1971, at the First Baptist Church in Texico, New Mexico. Lou Ann was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brownfield, Texas. In past years, she had taught Sunday School, worked with Acteens, the Youth Group and Special Friends. She has been involved in the Special Friends Retreat in Floydada as well as Special Ed Lab School, during Sunday School Week at Glorieta, New Mexico. Lou Ann enjoyed volunteering in reading groups at Central Elementary School in Artesia. Lou Ann had been employed by T.S.T. Paraffin Service/Key Energy Services, Inc. for over 30 years. Lou Ann is preceded in death by her parents, John R. and Evelyn; an older brother, Raymond Cornell Hadley, and older sister, Lanetta Gale Hadley Harrison. She is survived by her husband of almost 49 years, their son, Kevin Hadley Larson and wife Tazley, of Clovis, New Mexico; their daughter Kayla Jenee Larson Parrish and husband Scott, of Artesia, New Mexico. Lou Ann also has an adopted son, Emmanuel Okoro and wife Rose, of Katy, Texas. Her grandchildren include Baylor, Briar, and Bridger Larson of Clovis, New Mexico; Jordan Parrish and wife Cassidi, of Lubbock, Texas; Jaci, Jadyn and Jacob Parrish of Artesia, New Mexico; and Xavier, Joshua, Ivana, and Jesse Okoro of Katy, Texas. She is also survived by two sisters Lavena Jean Smith of Farwell, Texas, Linda Sue Harrison of Clovis, New Mexico, brother, Richard Dwight Hadley of Texico, New Mexico, an adopted brother, Keith Scott of Lubbock, Texas. Lou Ann is also leaving behind many nieces and nephews and many “adopted” children. Lonnie married Gloria Fulford in February 1996 in Brownfield. He was a hardworking man and served his community for 27 years working at Terry County Tractor. Lonnie was a great husband, dad, and Grumpa. He raised his stepsons as his own even when he didn’t have to. Everything Lonnie did he devoted himself to fully. Lonnie is preceded in death by his father, Donald “Pete” Smyers. Lonnie is survived by his wife, Gloria Smyers; son Dustin Smyers; stepsons, Kirk Connett and wife Michelle, Klint Marks and wife Kelsey, Kolton Marks; mother, Treva Boen; grandchildren, Hagen, Kaden, Kole, Kyla, and Greyson; brother, Terry Smyers and wife Neisha, nieces, Aubre Shelton and husband Matt, and Jayci Johnson and husband Seth.

On July 26, 1946, Gary was born to the late Grady and Nellie Karr of Brownfield, TX. Gary resided there for most of his life, where he raised five daughters. He followed in his father’s footsteps, taking over the family’s restaurant, The Village Grill, a favorite among the locals. After retirement, he relocated to Amarillo, TX, with his daughter Lindy and dedicated his time to being Papaw to his grandchildren. Gary is survived by his daughters, Sherry Karr of Midland, Lindy Lee and husband Jason of Amarillo, Leslie Quintanilla and husband Mic of Wolfforth, Brooke Borchardt and husband Moe of Lubbock, and Stormy Matney of Lubbock; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, David Karr, Mark Karr, and Yvette Arnold. Gary is also survived by Karen Phillips.

Cristina Macias passed away at the age of 84 in Lubbock, TX. She took her last breath on November 18, 2020; she met her creator peacefully and surrounded by her children on that Wednesday afternoon. Cristina is the eldest sibling of 5 children and was born July 24, 1936 in the town of Julimes, Mexico. Cristina grew up most of her childhood in the rural town of La Boquilla, Mexico, with her sisters, Paula, Guadalupe, Dionicia and her brother Alfonso. At a very young age, she learned the importance of family and the unbreakable bond they would share for years to come. In this same rural town, she married the love of her life, Amando Macias. Together they raised nine exceptional children unique in their own way. She was the loving mother of 3 courageous women and 6 fine men. Decades later, they moved to the town of Brownfield, TX to retire and enjoy the rest of their lives. Cristina, along with her husband, shared a passion for the word of God as they spent many nights and mornings reading their Bible and praying to declare blessings over their children and generations to come. Cristina had a heart of servitude in which she praised, gave thanks while actively congregating in her church Ministerio Tierra de Promesas. She loved caring for her pets whether it was her dog or her birds. She liked to maintain her home decorated with an array of colorful flowers. Along with her parents, she is preceded by her son Alfonso, her husband Amando, and her grandson Armando Jr. In addition to her siblings, her survivors include her children Olaya Ruiz and husband Cesar of Brownfield, Manuel Macias and wife Ema of Brownfield, Ramona Llamas and husband Francisco of Brownfield, Sabas Macias and wife Erendira of Meadow, Armando Macias and wife Maria Patricia of Brownfield, Daniel Macias and wife Asita of Brownfield, Gloria Steiger and husband Robert of Brownfield and Everet Macias and wife Perla Angelica of Wolfforth. She enjoyed until her last days the love of 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was the pride of all her grandchildren, who will forever cherish her unfiltered wittiness. She holds a special place in the tiniest of hearts to the eldest. With gratitude, her children will continue her legacy until they meet again. Her family hopes that if anyone should remember her, they remember her as a woman of faith, love and family.

He was born to Joe T. Villarreal Sr and the late Rebecca O. Villarreal on April 16, 1965 in Lamesa, Texas. He attended Brownfield schools. In his youthful years he could be seen rebuilding motors and hotrodding his GMC pickup with his friends and his mom sometimes. His favorite pastime was raising horses and teaching his grandchildren how to ride. He was a past member of the Terry County Sheriff’s Posse and loved volunteering during rodeo season. He will be remembered for his passion for entering BBQ cook-offs; a joy that he shared with his family on many occasions. Joe was the owner of J & B Paint & Body Shop where he continued the art in restoring cars. Joe is proceeded in death by his brother Larry, mother Rebecca O. Villarreal and grandson Jonah Lucio. Survivors left to cherish his memory are his father Joe T. Villarreal Sr., his loving wife Monica Warren, daughters Tessa Lucio (Johnny), Jo’Ana Davis (Roy), Monica Gamez (Kevin), son JoSeth Villarreal (Dariann Martinez), stepsons Roddy Warren (Lindsey), Ross Warren (Genesis), stepdaughter Rheagan Warren, sisters Flora Alvarado (Rudy) and Sandra Villarreal (Rick Rodriguez), Eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. “You may be gone from our sight, but never gone from our hearts.”

Pallbearers are Andrea Rodriquez, Nevaeh Rodriquez, Noel Garcia, Victor Vasquez, Israel Vasquez, Hector Hernandez, Andrew Vasquez and Zeke Savedra. Hilda was born in Tahoka, TX, on May 14, 1955, to Armando and Olivia Vasquez. Hilda was a life-long resident of Brownfield. Her favorite colors were yellow, green and blue. She loved to plant flowers of all types and colors. She loved to work in the yard as well. She also loved to collect bird houses of all types. Her other love was to witness the Bible as a Jehovah’s Witness, her faith was extraordinarily strong. Hilda worked as a dietician and later became a Certified Nursing Assistant who loved to work with the elderly. Her best friend was Oralia Espinoza. The two would do everything together. Hilda’s other passion was traveling. That quest took her to Switzerland, Germany, France, Jamaica, Belize, Cozumel, and Cancun as well as other parts of the United States. She is preceded in death by three grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are three sisters; Maricella Garcia, Sylvia Bautista, and Sally Castillo; three brothers, Ray Vasquez, Victor Vasquez and Armando Vasquez Jr. Also, six children, David Hernandez Jr. who gave her two grandchildren, Adriana Hernandez and Briana Hernandez; her second child, Joe Hernandez of Dallas, TX, third child, Chon Hector Hernandez who gave her four grandchildren, Haley Hernandez, Janessa Hernandez, Kamryn Hernandez and Willow Rose Hernandez; the fourth child, Christopher Shawn Hernandez of Dallas, TX; fifth child, Andrea Rodriquez (Frankie), together they have Angelica Rodriquez, Angel Rodriquez, Navaeh Rodriquez, Angelina Rodriquez, Frankie Rodriquez Junior, Victoria Rodriquez, Elizabeth Rodriquez, John Rodriquez and Sarah Rodriquez; sixth child Joshua Matthew Hernandez (Mercedes) Hernandez of Brownfield TX.

She loved to read. Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hungerford, and three siblings, Kenneth Tuttle, Charlene Acker, and Dean Patterson. She is survived by three children, LaConna Ingram, Bobby Joe Hungerford, Timothy D. Hungerford; four grandchildren, Derek Hungerford, Jordan Hungerford, Hunter Hungerford, Quentin Hodge; four great-grandchildren, Grim, Logan, Reagan, and Hailey Hungerford; and one brother, Jimmy Tuttle.

Luis was a loving husband, father and grandfather who he would do anything for. He loved his grandbabies so much he had them so spoiled. He loved his family, music, and the Lord. Luis was a very caring person who would do anything for anyone. Luis is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Margarita Villarreal; two brothers, Ricky and John Villareal. Luis is survived by his wife Sandra Villarreal; daughter, Bianca Gamez and husband Travis; two sons, Isaiah Villarreal and girlfriend Alexis Ramirez, Joshua Villarreal; four grandchildren, Ayaan, Aceyn, Aaryn Gamez, Zaydan Villarreal; two sisters, Gloria Duran and husband Carloz of Earth, TX, Veronica Hernandez of Denver City; and several nieces and nephews.
