Charlotte Goble Wiley, 76, of Lubbock, passed away Friday July 24, 2020.She was born in Burkburnett Texas on March 4, 1944. Charlotte graduated from Brownfield High School and received her Nursing degree from South Plains College. She married her first love, Bruce Langehennig, September 6, 1962. He was the father of her four children. She devoted her life to him until his death May 5, 1979. After years as a single mother, on May 28, 1992, Charlotte married Franklin Wiley. They were happily married until his death December 31, 2010. Charlotte was also preceded in death by her parents Harry Goble, Dorothy Goble, her brother Jerry Goble and son in law Monte Sullivent. She was the grand representative for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls Louisiana to Texas, PTA President of Hardwick Elementary of 1978, Den Mother for the Cub Scouts of America during the youth of her sons. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, and arts/crafts. She most enjoyed attending Church on the Rock, South Campus with her family. She is survived by her four children- Delton(Cindy) Langehennig of Ft Worth, Bryan Langehennig, Angie Sullivent( Fiancé’ Richard Lockard) and Melissa (Kevin) Rennels, five grandchildren- Carissa(Chris) Beck, Evie Langehennig, Bruce Langehennig II, Brittny (David) Quintanar, Tina Jo(Troy) McGann, 9 great grand children and an abundance of extended family who loved and care for her deeply. The family would like to thank Dr. Jitendra Vasandani, Encompass Home Health and Beyond Faith for their attentive care. They would also like to extend their deepest gratitude for her private care givers. Visitation will be Thursday, July 30 from 4p.m. to 6p.m. at Resthaven Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday, July 31st at 2pm at Church on the Rock South Campus.

He went with the best way he knew how, laughing and joking alongside his wife of 40 years, Rose Ann Perez. He was born on September 16, 1959 in Brownfield, TX to David and Audonna Perez. He graduated from Meadow High School and started his impactful life alongside Rose Ann Perez on March 8, 1980 in Brownfield, TX. He is survived by his wife, Rose Ann Perez of Brownfield, TX, three Children and their spouses Maricella Perez and Marty Garcia of Brownfield, TX, Aaron and Sobeida Perez of Gardendale, TX and Amy and Javier Trillo of Kennedale, TX, five grandchildren, one grandchild on the way, and four furbabies. His five brothers and sisters, Yolanda and Ernest Pauda of Brownfield, TX, David and Susan Perez of Meadow, TX, Mary Ann and Ismael Cortez of Davidson, OK, Benny Perez of Meadow, TX and Linda and Jimmy Tercero of Lubbock, TX and MANY nieces and nephews. He will be joined in death by his parents David and Audonna Perez, his in-laws Carlos and Geneva Vera, and others. Read moreSara Elizabeth (Strain) Shepherd went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in Grove, OK. She was born February 6, 1920 at the home of her Aunt, Nan Walker, in rural Collin County, Texas. The youngest child of John Henry Strain and his second wife Imogene Rossetter, she had seven half-siblings and an older brother, J. R. “Jake” Strain. Standing on the front porch of the parsonage with the pastor of the Baptist Church in marred James A. Shepherd, Sr. on Floydada, Texas, she marred James A. Shepherd, Sr. on February 28, 1940. At the time of her husband’s death they had been happily married for 63 years. They raised three children, James A. Shepherd, Jr., Billy Joe Shepherd, and Kay Shepherd. During WWII, her husband James was in the Navy and her brother, Jake, served in the Marine Corps. For the duration of the war, she and her mother proudly joined the workforce. Both were Rosie the Riveters at the North American Aviation Plant in Dallas, Texas. Sarah worked with B-25 Mitchell Bombers and her mother with P-51 Mustang Fighters. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James in 2003 and son Billy Joe in 2012. She is survived by her son James A. Shepherd, Jr. and wife Cathy of Honolulu, Hawaii and her daughter Kay Fleming and husband Rick of Grove, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home, Brownfield, Texas. Burial will take place in Brownfield, Texas at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Read moreRobert Doyle Simpson passed away on July 20th at age 80. He was born to R.L. and Modena Simpson on September 24, 1939 in Levelland, Texas. Doyle’s grandfather, O.L. Oldham, was a Baptist preacher. Doyle spent many summers with his grandparents and participated in church activities with them. When he was a teenager, he started working at Primm Drug in Brownfield, Texas. He graduated from Brownfield High School and later graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University to become a registered pharmacist. He returned to Brownfield and became a partner at Primm Drug. He married Emily Blackstock on June 21, 1964. They have two daughters, Laura and Amy. In Brownfield, he co-owned F&S Pharmacy and later, Nelson Pharmacy. Doyle and Emily attended First Baptist Church, where Doyle was the secretary of the Sunday School youth department for many years, including when his daughters were in the youth program. He later became interested in clowns and magic and used those interests to present The Gospel to children and adults. He served on the Brownfield City Council. He was active in the Optimist Club and was named Outstanding Optimist of the Year. Doyle and Emily moved to Georgetown in 2002 and joined First Baptist Church of Georgetown. He was a deacon, an outreach leader in Bob Edd Shotwell’s class, and actively supported Joshua Harris of Oak Ridge Ministries. Doyle’s parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Emily; his daughters Laura (husband Jim, children Josh and Rebecca) of Belton, Texas, and Amy of Georgetown, Texas. His siblings are his brother, Bob and wife Sherry of Midland, Texas; brother, Doug and wife Jan of Denison, Texas; and sister, Sandi Buck and husband Chris of Kingston, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Eddie was born Dec 16, 1962 to Geneva and Eddie Tealer Sr. here in Brownfield Texas. Eddie met Cynthia Garza at Brownfield Middle School at the age of 14 they married in 1979 in Brownfield. They had two daughters Latrisha Tealer and Kasandra Tealer. Eddie and Cynthia were blessed with seven grandkids Shacolby Hill Jr, Kieria Richard, Bobby Bruner Jr, Jaslyn Gomez, Jordan Bruner, Kassidy and Nikoly Garcia. Four great grandkids A’Jayveion Allen, Kaliyah Richard, Pure Hill, Cyrie Allen. Eddie’s passion was his family, he loved to be involved with all his family he did not like to be left out he wanted to be a part of everything. He loved to watch his grandkids play sports but not only his grandkids but most of his nieces and nephews also. He loved baseball and was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan. Eddie was a great dad he was always there showing his kids unconditional love no matter what, he was there for every basketball game he never missed a birthday or a holiday he never missed a moment in his daughters lives. He gave from his heart what money could never buy – unconditional love. But nothing came close to the love he had for his wife Cynthia. She was his world and he never wanted to be apart from her and his family. Even when he knew his time was near he was still afraid to leave his family. Eddie was a good man, he was a loving person and he never met a stranger. He knew everyone. He was always willing to help anyone and everyone. He was a very giving person. Eddie was a very smart man so he thought, he knew the answer to everything even if it was wrong he would find a way to make it seem he was right. He also thought of himself as a crafty or a handyman even if things would only work for a day or two. He will be greatly missed. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Geneva and Eddie Sr; sister Dollie Braziel; brother Willie James Tealer; and two nieces Sharon Tealer and Tonya Braziel. Eddie is survived by his wife Cynthia of 41 years; 2 daughters, Latrisha Tealer of Odessa and her three children and Kasandra of Brownfield her husband Art and their three children; 2 brothers, Carl Lee and Roy Lee Tealer of Brownfield; 2 sisters Mary Jones of Odessa and Geneva Elaine Tealer of Brownfield.

Jeremy was sweet and kind and his family and friends will miss him very much! He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfredo and Isabelle Gamez; an uncle, Alfredo Gamez, Jr.; and an aunt, Ester Alvarado. Jeremy is survived by his parents, Daniel and Dora Campos; a brother, James Reyna and wife, Elaine; a sister, Janet Reyna; 2 daughters, Monika and Mia Reyna; son, Jacob Reyna and step-son, Isaiah Kohler.

They were married 64 years. Over the years Daniel worked as a bluecollar worker and was a handy man of many trades. Daniel professed his faith in Christ and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Brownfield. Daniel loved his family dearly. He enjoyed spending time with family and his children. He enjoyed taking trips and was a giver. He would help anyone he could and never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Juanita, brothers, David and Benny Perez. Daniel is survived by his lovely wife of 64 years and 8 months, 2 daughters; Janie Benton of Brownfield, Gloria Quintanilla (Rocky) of Wolfforth, 2 sons; Daniel Perez (Elisha), Johnny Joe Perez (Patty), 4 sisters; Sarah Cruz, Susan Robles (Roy), Patsy Ruiz, Mary Ruiz (Eusebio). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday July 22, 2020 4-8 p.m. in the chapel of Grace Funeral Care 1211 Lubbock Road Brownfield. Funeral service will be Thursday July 23, 2020 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Carter officiating. He will be laid to rest in Meadow Cemetery.

Terry was born March 29, 1944, in Wichita, to Richard and Ann (Robinson) McClure of Maize, Kansas. He graduated from Maize High School in 1962 and earned degrees in Biology and Physical Education at Friends University in 1967. Terry married Ingrid (Leo) McClure in 1967 and celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this past June. Terry taught Physical Science at Homer Hanna High School in Brownsville, Texas for 25 years. He and Ingrid enjoyed retirement together for 22 years. Terry had a lifelong passion for hot rod cars, amateur radio, radiocontrolled models, and shooting sports. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. Terry was a member of the First Congregational Church of Maize, the Scandinavian Society of Wichita, and the National Rifle Association. Terry is lovingly remembered by his wife Ingrid of Maize, Kansas, son Erin (Nicolette) of Wichita, granddaughter Loralei, son Brian (Michelle) of Colwich, his brother, Eric (Vici) McClure of Brownsville, Texas, nephew Joshua McClure of Colwich, grandnephew Jack, nephew Gabriel McClure of Austin, Texas, grandnephew Asher, niece Caitlin McClure of San Antonio, Texas, and grandniece Mila. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the Ark Church, 5501 N Maize Rd, Maize, Kansas at 10 am. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon following the service at the Old Country Store at 5201 N Maize Rd. Masks are encouraged but not required and social distancing will be observed. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be given to the First Congregational Church Elevator Fund, PO Box 207, Maize, Kansas, 67101, a cause which was very important to Terry.
