Citizens of Brownfield recently received the 2017 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report from the City of Brownfield. You may have studied it over or you may have just tossed it without much of a thought. But, what this report shows is that our water quality is good.
The water quality is tested in 12 different locations throughout the city twice each month. There are 20 locations where copper and lead levels are tested.
The city’s responsibility for water quality goes as far as the water meter. There could be contaminants in the homeowner’s water line that would have to be addressed by a plumber.
