Memorial services for Sue Sanders will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the First Christian Church in Brownfield with Rev. Josh Puckett and Danny Sanders officiating, under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Sue was born February 19, 1939, in Trinidad, Colorado, to Jacob and Allie Wooster. She grew up in Las Vegas, New Mexico, where she graduated from high school. Sue graduated from South Plains College with a degree in nursing. She married Wayne Sanders on July 4, 1986, at the First Christian Church. Sue enjoyed her career as an LVN for many years at the Brownfield Regional Medical Center where she made many lifelong friends. She was an active member of the First Christian Church in Brownfield since 1973, and she loved her church family. Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Sanders, and four children, William Carl Pearson, Jeffry Dean Jackson, Suzan Reid, and Mike Sanders.

Sue is survived by four children, Nancy Jean Little and husband, Glenn Vowell, of New Port, Florida, Cindy Barefield and husband, Roy, of Mont Belvieu, Texas, Debbi Foshee and husband, Scott, of Brownfield, Danny Sanders and wife, Sheryl, of Littlefield; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Judi Solley; two nieces; two nephews; and many friends.
