He was a cross country star, ran at State competitions and numerous other places including Pikes Peak in Colorado. Rudy began welding in 1980 and owned his business, Garcia’s Welding. He was passionate about his work and always put his faith into everything he did. Rudy will be remembered as a loving father, grandpa, husband, brother, son and friend. He was a family man and loved cooking out. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved to buy his son Elijah happy meals and collect all the toys for him. He was a good dancer, only his wife knew because he always claimed he “couldn’t dance.” He was well known by many, he never met a stranger. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, no matter the situation. He was also a very strong man of his faith. He had a smile that was absolutely contagious, it was hard to not smile back at him. He will be deeply missed, but for now, it’s not goodbye, just a see you later. We know that everytime the sun shines bright that he is welding up in Heaven. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
