Funeral services for Margie Lee York Crossland, 90, of Brownfield, was held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2021, at First Christian Church of Brownfield with Pastor Josh Puckett officiating. Burial rook place in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Margie went to be with her Lord Tuesday, March 16, 2021. She was born April 18, 1930, in Munday, Texas, to the late Claude Lee (Joe) and Ada Causey, and graduated from Brownfield High School in 1947. Margie married Felix Leroy York November 7, 1947, in Brownfield, Texas, who preceded her in death on January 23, 1988. She married the late E.H. Crossland on April 8, 1991, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Margie worked at Brownfield State Bank for 36 years and at the Terry County Heritage Museum for 12 years. She also owned and operated the York RV Park. Margie was a former member of the Calvary Baptist Church and later joined the First Christian Church of Brownfield. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Larry York and his wife Cheryl of Lubbock, Karen Chambers and her husband Mike of Brownfield, and Glenna Jacques and her husband Jeff of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild due in May. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the Terry County Heritage Museum.
