Guadalupe Vasquez October 19, 1935 - May 30, 2022

Services for Guadalupe Vasquez, 86, of Brownfield will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Visitation was held from 12-8p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Guadalupe was born on October 19, 1935 in Corpus Christi to Guadalupe Cobarrubio and Ramona Salas. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved cooking and sharing a meal with family and friends, using that time to visit and spend time with others. She enjoyed planting flowers in her garden and shopping at flea markets and garage sales. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her husband, Apolonio “Paul” Vasquez, Sr.; son, Paul Vasquez, Jr; daughter in law, Debra Vasquez; grandson, Ernesto Pierda, great grandson, Ruben Thomas Garcia; parents; 6 brothers and 1 sister.

She is survived by four sons, Joe Vasquez (Linda), John Vasquez (Lupe), Raymond (Rosa)and Ruben Vasquez (Carrie) and two daughters, Lisa Salgado (Rudy) and Stella Chavez (Lupe); 19 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.
