Funeral service for Alicia Garcia Perez will be held at 10 am Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Victory Worship Center Assembly of God. Prayer services will be held at 6 pm Tuesday and Wednesday, January 18 and 19, 2022, at Brownfield Funeral Home. Alicia Perez went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2022. She was born on November 7, 1945, in Temple, Texas. She grew up in the Houston suburbs. In 1959, she moved to Brownfield with her parents. She then met the love of her life, Felix Perez Jr. II. They married in 1963 and had 12 children. Alicia was known to everyone as Nana, Licha, and Mrs. Perez. Her passion was cooking and she loved to feed everyone’s children. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Helen Garcia of Abilene, Tx., Gloria Garcia of Abilene, six sons, Ricky Perez and wife Debbie of Brownfield, Felix Perez III of Brownfield, Pete Perez and wife Angela of Brownfield, Joel Perez of Brownfield, Max Perez of Snyder, Tx, Ramon Perez of Brownfield. Four daughters, Betty and husband Eloy Vela of Brownfield, Cecelia Perez of Austin, Tx, Debra Perez Coronado of Dallas, Tx, and Erica Perez of New Braunfels, Tx. Two adopted children, Trystan and Felicity Perez, 34 Grandchildren, and 17 Great Grandchildren. She was blessed with an abundance of nieces, nephews and welcomed any child as her own. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Felix Perez Jr. II; her parents Trinidad and Susie Garcia; four brothers Joe Garcia, Trinidad Garcia Jr., Tony Garcia, and Jimmy Garcia; her twin sons Micheal and Mark Perez; and one grandson Ricky Perez Jr.
