Texas Ag Commissioner Sid Miller, explained he “still lives off the land ” at the Ag Appreciation Dinner held at Reddy Vineyards Thursday night. He has a ranch and roping horses and a wide range of experience growing varied crops. Later when he was asked about hemp farming he answered in part by explaining how he had grown it recently just to learn about the crop.
