Jewel Gertrude Todd (March 21, 1921 - July 13, 2013)
Jewel Gertrude Todd of Kingsland, a spiritual giant, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 13, 2013. She was 92 years old, a fierce prayer warrior and Sunday School Teacher for fifty plus years who touched countless lives. She was born in Rattan, OK on March 21, 1921.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, G. R. Todd and granddaughter Christi Todd. She was the last survivor of 16 children.
She is survived by her five sons, Merle, Don, Doug, Clarence, J.E. and their families. She has 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, who will miss their "Mema” and several nieces and nephews.
How instrumental she was in building faith in all her family and so many others!
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Kingsland. Public viewing will begin at 1 p.m. with funeral service beginning at 1:30 p.m.t; Reverend Bubba Stahl will be officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
