Nona Fae Harris (September 15, 1922 - March 12, 2013)

Services for Nona Harris, 90, of Brownfield will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Brownfield First Baptist Church with Dr. Carl Moman officiating. Burial will follow at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Nona Fae Harris was born September 15, 1922 to Jim and Amy (Miller) Watson in Ranger. She graduated from Ranger High School and attended Ranger Jr. College. Nona married Roy Duane "Pete” Harris on May 17, 1944 in Brownfield. She was a member of Brownfield First Baptist Church and was a member of the Alpha Omega Study Club for many years.

Nona is survived by her husband, Roy D. "Pete” Harris of Brownfield; two daughters, Duanne Whitehead and husband, Bryan, of Austin, Marissa Durham and husband Dustin of Brownfield; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and two sisters, Helen Jenkins and Laverne Little, both of Midland.
