OBITUARY: Angel G. Howard

Graveside services for Angel G. Howard, 53, of Brownfield will be at 1:00pm, Friday, March 8, 2013 at Plains Cemetery in Plains, Texas with Jody O’Briant officiating. Services will be under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Angel passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Brownfield. She was born October 7, 1959 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Glen and Cora (Riley) Holmes. She graduated from Hobbs High School. She then attended Corpus Christi Cosmetology School. Angel married Major Howard on July 11, 1977 in Lovington, NM. She was the cosmetics manager at Dillard’s for 15 years. She lived for her grandchildren, even though she was sick she went to Welch First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Major Howard of Brownfield; a daughter, Summer Lovelace and her husband Sterling of Plains; a son, Major Allen Howard and his wife Arlene of Plains; grandchildren, Sage and Slade Lovelace and Bailey, Cheyanne and Gage Howard, Brett Howard, Skylar Watson and Casey Watson; a step daughter, Kristi Howard; her mother, Cora Holmes of Brownfield.
