Billie Marie Toles (1931-2013)

Billie Marie Toles, 82, went to be with her dear Lord and Saviour on Friday, February 22, 2013. A celebration of her life was held 1:00 PM Monday, February 25, 2013 at Legacy Church of God with Rev. John Gardner and Rev. Wayne Blackshear officiating. Burial was in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.

 Billie Marie was born on February 10, 1931 in Gaines County, TX to Lewis Elbert Gary and Flora Mae Mack Gary. On December 25, 1947, she and William Ray Toles were married in Brownfield. She was a homemaker.

Billie Marie served her Lord with wisdom and faithfulness to her church in mission work, as a Sunday school teacher, a children’s church leader, ladies Bible study leader and Prayer warrior.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Ray Toles of Wichita Falls, 3 children, Johnny Ray Toles and his wife Peggy of Kansas City, MO, Gary Wayne Toles and wife Renae of Ft. Worth, TX, and Sharon June Pike and husband Harold of Wichita Falls, sister June Strickland of Brownfield,  and brother Larry Gary of Brownfield, 3 grandchildren, Jon Toles and wife Laura of Dallas, TX, Sarah Campbell and husband Drew of Ft. Worth, TX, and Justin Pike and wife Kimberlee of Camp Pendleton, San Diego, CA.

The family was at the funeral home Sunday afternoon 3:00-4:00 PM for visitation.
