Thomas Henry Smith (1927-2013)

Thomas Henry Smith, 85, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Burleson, 317 W. Ellison St. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Thomas was born Oct. 13, 1927, in Brownfield to Thomas A. and Floy Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tommy Dale Smith; his second wife, Hazel Smith; and a sister, Dorothy Kelley.

Survivors: Wife, Maureen D. Smith; daughter, Pam Standly and husband, James; son, Ricky Lynn Smith; former wife and mother of his children, Evelyn Rash; stepchildren, Diana Best and Waynette Davis; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lorene Evans and Janis McNeil.
