Vicente V. Fabila (December 12, 1925 - December 23, 2012)

Services for Vicente V. Fabila Sr., 87, of Brownfield were held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial was in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Rosary was from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Vicente passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home in Brownfield. He was born December 12, 1925 in Aspermont to Vincente and Avarista Fabila. He moved to Brownfield in 1942. 

Vicente married Basilia Vasquez on September 20, 1944 in Lamesa. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. 

He is preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Vicente is survived by the love of his life of 68 years, Basilia; his children, Nasario Fabila of Brownfield, Arthur Fabila and wife Julia of Brownfield, Juanita Rivera and husband Jose Luis of Brownfield, Lupe Castro and husband Demetrio of Brownfield, Esmeralda Aleman and husband Armando Vasquez of Brownfield, Vincente Fabila Jr. and wife Cindy of Austin and Clarissa Fabila and husband J.J. Franco of Brownfield; 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Socorro Serbantez of Brownfield.
