Services for Leona Mae Harbin, 96, of Brownfield will be held 10am Friday, November 2, 2012 in the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Otis Boring officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Leona was born September 6, 1916 in Vanoss, OK to David Vernon and James Francis Solomon. She was raised in Marlow, OK and graduated from the "4 Mile School”. Leona married A.C. Harbin on September, 10, 1949 in Brownfield. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Harbin, a daughter, Ida Mae Christesson, six brothers, and sister, Dollie Worden.

Leona is survived by 2 sons, David Lewis Ivey of Houston, James Ivey of Tyler; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; brother, Vernon Birgil Solomon of Hobbs, NM; 3 sisters, Jewell Bible of Hobbs, NM, Opal Corey Adams of Levelland, and Milred Simmonds of Oklahoma City, OK; and 3 step children and their families.
