OTHELIA GREEN DYE (1918-2012)

Services for Othelia Green Dye, 93, of Brownfield will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Brownfield Church of Christ with Doug Hale officiating and Bob Reynolds assisting. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

 Othelia was born November 14, 1918 to Ola Ellis and Ruby Dossey Franklin in Mcloud, Okla. She attended school in Amarillo and then graduated from Meadow High School. She married Curtis Dye on January 15, 1960. Othelia was a member of Vandelia Church of Christ in Lubbock.

Othelia is preceded by her husband, Curtis Dye; son, Jett Morgan Green; sister, Oleta Hester and brother, Forney Franklin.

 Othelia is survived by two sons, Donald W. Green and wife, Linda, of Brownwood, Franklin A. Green of Houston; daughter, Betty J. Lindsey and husband, Pete, of Brownfield; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and daughter-in-law, Vicki Green of Brownwood.
