JUAN CARLOS SANCHEZ, 1974-2013

Juan Carlos Juarez Sanchez, 38, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Lubbock.

 Funeral mass for Juan was at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Brownfield with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial followed in Meadow. Personal services were entrusted to Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors.

Juan was born on September 25, 1974 in Lubbock to Juan Salazar and Esmeralda Sanchez. He married Vickie Rocha on July 4, 2009 in Brownfield.

Juan enjoyed playing the electric guitar and collected different guitars. He was very proud of his boys. He will be remembered as a great son, a good father, a good step-father and a great husband.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Vickie of the home; his mother and step-father, Esmeralda Sanchez and Noe Alvarado of Brownfield; his father, Juan Salazar of Lubbock; three sons, Avel Eduardo Sanchez, Johnny Abraham Sanchez and Fidel Emiliano Sanchez, all of Brownfield; one daughter: Carolyn Leyzette Navarro of Brownfield; one brother, Michael Sanchez of Brownfield and one sister, Teresa Sanchez of Colorado.

 He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Abraham and Lily Juarez; and his paternal grandparents, Raul and Elena Sanchez.
