Street flooding has been reported in Houston and San Antonio where storms have left thousands of homes and businesses without electricity.

CenterPoint Energy had more than 5,400 power outages Tuesday amid the rainstorms that slowed travel in the Houston area. CPS Energy reported about 7,900 homes and businesses without power mainly in the San Antonio area.T
