Family members gathered to say goodbye to their beloved brother and uncle, Clyde Raymon Musick.

Raymon was born January 20, 1935 to Carrol and Opal Musick in Cherokee County (Jacksonville) Texas. He died April 7, 2014.
Grandpa Musick died earlier the same day, 1935.

Raymon was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Korea and Japan. He was a very talented woodworker. Give him a piece of wood and he would make something beautiful.

Raymon was a simple man with simple needs and wants. He would often say “if I had Bill Gates’ money I would do this or that.” It was never for himself.

Raymon leaves behind sisters Cristene Corder of Brazoria, Janice Metcalf of Levelland and sister and caregiver Ella Mae Alexander, brother Johnni Musick and favorite niece Donna Phillips, all of Brownfield; four children, Danny, Brenda and Gary, all of New Mexico and Sandra of Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, youngest brother Kenneth, oldest brother Alfred and half sister Edrie Gruben.
