    The Meadow Broncos defeated the Ropes Eagles Friday night 60-49, landing the Meadow in second place for district.

    Both the Meadow Broncos and the Lady Broncos had a good night overall against the Wilson Mustangs in the Meadow gym Tuesday night as the girls walked away with a win (40-36) as did the boys (93-56).

    Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Agent Mary Collier painting and piecing together two new quilt blocks for the Terry County Quilt Trail.  Two more were commissioned recently to honor two Terry County sisters who recently passed.

    While the Lady Broncos lost to the Lorenzo Lady Hornets Friday night in Lorenzo, the boys varsity took another win home winning 67-36.The Lady Broncos lost to Lorenzo 41-48.

    Both the Meadow Broncos and the Lady Broncos made a solid showing on the Southland hardwood Tuesday night, the Lady Broncos winning 42-19 and the Meadow boys varsity also winning 74-37.

    The Meadow Broncos put a spot on the New Home  Leopards’ record Friday as Meadow bucked another strong victory winning 71-44.
