One Brownfield man was indicted earlier this week on a felony drug charge stemming from a domestic dispute call for service in June.
Taiwan L. Cummings, 25,was indicted Monday for a first-degree felony charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance PG1 over 4 grams  and under 200 grams.

    Organ Donation can be a difficult topic for some people. Possibly, a reason for this can be related to the grieving process and the letting go of an individual. The truth is, for many, the act of donating your loved one’s organs can be a part of the healing process after the death. Many find comfort in the idea that there are others still able to live healthy lives because of the fact that their loved one donated.

    The Terry County Commissioner’s Court met in regular session on Monday, September 8th at 10:00 a.m. in the Terry County Courthouse. The regular items of business, including reports from county officials were discussed and acted upon.

    A federal jury in Lubbock took less than 20 minutes to clear Brownfield Police Officer Sgt. Joshua Coronado in a civil suit brought by plaintiff Zackary Kegan Cruz, 23, who claimed Coronado used unconstitutional excessive force during an incident that took place Aug. 6, 2011.

    Tuesday night’s game at Lubbock Cooper was one of big runs and large swings that saw both teams build double-digit leads then let them slip away on more than one occasion, before the Pirates took the win by just three points as time expired with the Cubs shooting rom behind the arc to no avail.
