A misdemeanor theft arrest has led to a recent felony drug indictments for local resident Quentin Durrel Phergson.  
Phergson, 25, was indicted on two counts of second-degree felony manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance PG1 over 1 gram and less than four grams recently, which stems from his arrest in February.
A little after 3 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, officers were dispatched to a convenience store located near the 100 block of N. 1st St.  
The complainant advised officers that an individual had allegedly stolen a can of potato chips and had left the premises.
Police found Phergson in possession of the chips and arrested him for theft. They then transported him to the Terry County Justice Center where the drugs were discovered during the booking process. That included finding 3.1 grams of Crack Cocaine and less than 2 ounces of Marijuana.  
Bond for all charges at the time of his arrest was set at almost  $60,000.
